Access to records and privacy rights information.
This page serves as the public PAIA and POPIA access information page for WanoWiredWebz. It explains how to request access to records, how to contact us about personal information, and the broad categories of records we may hold as a private business.
1. Contact details of the private body
- Private body: WanoWiredWebz
- Information or privacy contact: wanowiredwebz@gmail.com
- Business location or address: South Africa
- Website: WanoWiredWebz
2. Guide on using PAIA
The Information Regulator has published a guide on how to use PAIA. You can access it from the Information Regulator website together with prescribed forms, complaint forms, and additional POPIA guidance.
3. How to request access to records
Requests for access to records should be submitted in writing with enough detail for us to identify the record requested and the requester. If applicable, the prescribed PAIA process and fees may apply.
- Email requests to wanowiredwebz@gmail.com.
- Include your full name, contact details, the record or information requested, and the right you are seeking to exercise where relevant.
- Where proof of identity is reasonably required, we may ask for enough information to verify the requester before releasing records.
4. POPIA requests and objections
You may also use the same contact channel to ask for access to your personal information, correction or deletion of inaccurate or excessive information, destruction of records we are no longer entitled to retain, or to object to processing where POPIA allows it.
POPIA correction, deletion, and objection rights should be exercised free of charge using the applicable Regulator forms or a reasonably clear written request.
